Entries are still available for the Trackrod Lookout Stages Rally at Melbourne Airfield in Yorkshire on Sunday 11 July 2021. To avoid any doubt, the event will definitely run.
Careful planning in the design and turn-around of the stages will enable the organising team to run six stages covering a full 45 miles for an entry fee of just £290. The event is a qualifying round of the Melbourne Challenge as well as the ANEMMC and ANWCC Championships.
With the assistance of the other clubs that use Melbourne Airfield plus the landowner and Motorsport UK, significant investment is made every year further to repair and improve the road surfaces. The venue is already in good condition and a further £22,000 will be spent before the Trackrod event in July, a rally that first ran in 1989.
Entries are still available and the event is fully on track for a great day’s affordable rallying. Permission is being sought to allow overnight camping for competitors, subject to COVID-19 rules, and the event is non-spectator.
